The Cure Club is an initiative of Diabetes Australia that raises funds for diabetes research. The Diabetes Australia Research Trust (DART) is the recipient of the funds raised and ensures that your donations go to the Australian research projects that are making a difference.
The Cure Club has two objectives in funding diabetes research:
On World Diabetes Day 2004, a total of 59 research grants were awarded by DART. These grants cover a wide variety of research projects with benefits for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, diabetes in pregnancy and newborns, and the needs of the newly diagnosed.
You can be a partner in the Cure Club, simply by making a contribution with our easy direct debit system or by sending a single donation. You choose the amount you give.
From the smallest individual contributor or family through to community groups, small business and multi-national corporations – all can be partners in Diabetes Australia’s exciting initiative for diabetes research – the Cure Club.
